erm, well this is perfect

there is no perfect cure for a hangover. bananas are good. bloody marys are better. this is best. take the band i'm currently obsessed with and throw in a member of the group responsible for some of my favourite music over the past few years. russell lissack of bloc party has only gone a remixed the maccabees. i've gone on about bloc party a lot on here, but haven't gushed about the ear sex music that the maccabees are currently producing enough. they were the highlight of the great escape, they all have superb posh names and over their two albums have shown they can do everything from catchy pop to dark thoughtful indie. don't be surprised if their third album is a death metal epic. actually, do be surprised. that would be weird. anyway, they have range.
